Typical applications include the Jabsco 3 4" and 1" raw water pumps. Jabsco 5850 0001, 18400 0050, 18660 0121, 18670 0123 and Perkins 3270 0001. The slinger is a neoprene washer fitted to the shaft of a Jabsco raw water pump between the water seal and the oil seal. It is a fail safe, and in the event of a water seal failure, the water will leak to the shaft and be dissipated by the slinger
